Can't say I know all that much about Brother-in-law. But saying he "was involved" in assassinations and other crimes is a legal issue that needs legal verification. I'm going to reword that now, and suggest an admin inform Zlaxy of that problem.

I am aware of some of this, but certainly not all. The spellings I knew about--English spellings weren't standardized until well after the first publication of the Authorized Version of the Bible, commonly called the King James Version. And spellings still aren't entirely standardized--I remember getting spelling words marked wrong in English class because I was using British spellings instead of American.

And some letters in 1611 were different than now. I used the typeface copied from the original Authorized Version in some art I did for my article "The Alchemists' Guild" that recently appeared in Pyramid Magazine. But I made the letter "u" to look readable to modern audiences, as "u" and "v" often looked the same. And I also know several entire books from the Authorized Version are left out in modern Protestant Bibles. Catholic Bibles have their own variations--I'll admit I'm largely ignorant of the official Bible of the Eastern Orthodox Church,

And I completely agree that Christianity has changed, and changed radically. There are things practiced by early Christians that, in much of the modern world where Christianity is common, could get one sent to prison.

Zlaxy, I'm not sure what you mean by the "Christianisation of Catholicism." I'd be curious to know.

An irony is that, had those paintings been new, Fandom likely would have censored and removed them.
