Who is the father[]
This is for Hilde but really it's for anyone who knows. The article had the slave father's name as Kizza called Joel. But my book says his name was Wango called Bob. Which is right? Miley Spears Discordian American Princess to the Stars (let's talk) 03:38, July 6, 2015 (UTC)
- Miley, you are right. I copied and pasted this from my version. I or Sister Hooter chose "Kizza" because it's an African name meaning "born after twins." It tied in with Eristotle having twins. The English name "Joel" assigned to him is related to Joseph, father of Jesus (mother name Marian, like Jesus' mother Mary). But when I submitted it for Ek-sen-trik-kuh Discordia, Reverend Loveshade asked if it could be changed to "Wango," which is the name of one of his slave ancestors. And it is related to "Wango Tango" which fits the story. I don't remember why he was given the English name "Bob," but that's such a popular name among Discordians and SubGenii. And it works better because that way Eristotle's supposed father relates to Joseph but her biological father's name doesn't. Pope Hilde (talk) 20:57, July 6, 2015 (UTC)
